Recycled Can Chameleons

We have cute chameleons, crafted from recycled cans! Great office or household decoration for you or a friend who cares about the environment and less fortunate people! Chameleon colors are assorted.

Although Aliou Samake can't walk, he doesn't let his handicap stifle his artistic creatitivity. People in his community bring him discarded cans which he slices up and makes into fun art objects, like these chameleons.

Shown here in his workshop in Bamako, Mali, it's easy to tell that Samake really enjoys his work. (Note that in Mali, people often are referred to by their last names).

These copper wire boxes and fruit from Mali are made from old refrigerator wire! Please note that the color of the copper may vary from set to set since refrigerators differ.

Did you know that....
Chameleons are in the family Chamaeleontidae, mostly arboreal Old World lizards?
They have prehensile tails, eyeballs that can independently move, and are able to change the color of the skin.
