Banana Leaf Trays from Rwanda, Africa

We have a number of trays, perfect for serving holiday and everyday goodies, woven from banana leaves.

We've had these trays displayed on our big Rwandan Weaving page, so hope you don't mind going there to see them all.

Wooden Trays from El Salvador

El Yagual, the small workshop where this peace dove tray is made, was started back in the 80's with one woman's vision and unique design sense. The workshop has been growing ever since. They specialize in bright lively designs such as Central American animals, plants, and fruits. The wooden trays are hand-painted and then sealed with varnish.

In addition to the trays shown above, we also have trivets (hot pads) that sport the same fun designs. They can protect your table from being marred by hot serving dishes, or be used as a colorful platform for a centerpiece, pitcher, etc. Like the trays, you can also use these as wall decorations. They are a 1" thick piece of wood, on round feet so that they're about 2" high. Each is about 8" wide. Now only $22.80 each
