Our raw tagua nuts are a great carving media, and make an excellent replacement for ivory. This is why tagua has become known as vegetable ivory or compassionate ivory. It is a perfect naturally occuring substitue that has no negative impact on any endangered species, or any other animals for that matter!

groups and provides incentives for forest conservation.
Whole Raw Tagua Nuts are ideal for carving and turning.
Most often they are used for single and multi-piece carvings.
They can be purchased in either medium or large sizes, individually or in 22.5 lb. bags (10kg).

are white and flat (the inside of the tagua nut). The border is the brown nut skin.

Tagua Nut Brown Slices |
One surface is the slightly curved, outside bark of the tagua nut (brown).
The other surface is the flat, inside of the nut (white).
Slices are approximately 1/4" thick.
