We've been having difficulty obtaining good whole tagua nuts, so we now just offer slices.
Our raw tagua nut slices are a great carving media, and are an excellent replacement for ivory.
Both promotion and support of this renewable resource generates income for local producer
groups and provides incentives for forest conservation.
Tagua Nut Slices are ideal for pendants and as bases for figurines.
These are unpolished.
Tagua Nut Brown Slices |
One surface is the slightly curved, outside bark of the tagua nut (brown).
The other surface is the flat, inside of the nut (white).
Slices are approximately 1/4" thick.
