These unique nut boxes are hand-crafted from larger tagua nuts, and measure approximately 2 to 2 1/2 inches. Artisans in Ecuador harvest these tagua nuts using good forest management techniques, and then carve this "Vegetable Ivory" into fine products.

The lid of each tagua nut box is artistically adorned with a carving or etching of a rose, daisy, branch, clam shell, sun or moon.
