Bolivian Wood Frames
Indian Photo Frames
We have a new line of metal photograph frames, beautifully decorated with metal edging, hand-crafted in India.
With the funding of a non-governmental organization (NGO), Noah's Ark International,
hundreds of Indian artisan groups have received money for raw materials, machines and workshop repairs.
Noah's Ark requires proof of fair wages and work conditions for artisans, offers free classes in capacity
planning, rigorous quality control checks, plus it runs education and water sanitation projects to
benefit the communities.
Small Metal Photo Frames: Each of these photo frames is sized for about 3.5" diameter photos - a great way to highlight
faces, flowers, or details in a photograph.
The outer portion of the frames vary in size but are about 5" in diameter, with the Large Link style's outer diameter being almost 6".
The Large Link style photo frame has an easel for display on a dresser, mantle, etc. The Woven Chain and Bicycle Chain styles have both an easel
for display as well as a hole for hanging on the wall.

CIDAC, a non-governmental organization, created a
permanent workshop of painting and ceramics for children and young
adults.
This project continues to bring young indigenous artisans to Santa Cruz.
They receive housing and food while they attend high school, since higher education is
often not available in remote communities.
They also work in the workshop to learn a trade, earn money, and then return to their villages to
teach the craft to others.
What started with just one boy has expanded and remained
a viable social and environmental project to help indigenous Bolivian youth and their communities.

We also have photo holders crafted from recycled metal
on our
Junkyard Critters page.
Please also see
Bolivian Painted Boxes.
Great companion decoration with the wooden photo frames.
If you like the metal frames, we also have
similar metal mirrors.
