Yes, these beautiful baskets and bowls are made from corn! They're handmade by indigenous women in rural Guatemala using the knowledge and history of their ancestors. They're helped through via funding and other services from a number of organizations, including Fundacion FAFIDESS, which now supports 5,000 indigenous women in Guatemala.

These "Mayan Treasures" are created with quality raw materials. The tag on each basket or bowl is signed by the woman who made it.
