These soaps are crafted by women in Pintada, Colombia through a partnership between One World Projects
and Fundación Ecologica Santa Fe.
Fundación Ecologica Santa Fe is a non-profit, private institution and sister organization
of the Santa Fé Zoo in Medellín, Colombia.
Its goals include the rehabilitation and release of confiscated and donated wildlife.
They also seek to promote sustainable economic alternatives to illegal wildlife trafficking
of fauna and flora in Colombia, specifically for the communities where this is most prevalent.
Currently 17 species of mammals, 16 species of birds and 4 species of reptiles find
refuge at the organization's wildlife rehabilitation center.
You can also help this organization through your purchase of very
cute, hand-made monkey plush toys, scarves and earmuffs.
