Bells from around the world are available in a variety of shapes and sizes. We're offering you a few bells crafted in Afghanistan and India, in the hope that they will add music, decoration and joy to your home.

Afghan Metal Bells

Afghan Embroidered Bells     $10.00 each ZDZ:BELL 3.5" top to bottom, including the cloth; bottom of the bell is 2" in diameter. These cross-stitched handbells crafted in Afghanistan have endless uses, including as a musical instrument, a desk or office accessory or an unmistakable way to call the kids for dinner. They're so beautiful, you may want them just as a colorful reminder of the many worlds outside of our country. The designs and colors vary, as you can see from the photo above. The photo to the left is a close-up of the embroidery.

Indian Metal Bells

These metal bells were handmade in India in a workshop sponsored by Noah’s Ark, an NGO that offers funding for raw materials, machines and workshop repairs to 100 artisan groups across India. In exchange for assistance, workshops must prove that all employees are paid fair wages for their products and work in safe and clean conditions. Noah's Ark also offers free classes in capacity building to its network of 600 artisans, a rigorous quality control check, and runs education and water sanitation projects to benefit the artisans’ children and the rest of the community. The company has established 20 new workshops in the past 15 years, and all employees are paid 10-15% above the local rate.

Indian Hanging Bell Chime with 5 Bells $13.00   NOA:BELL-CHIME Bring home the sweet sounds of fair trade with our Hanging Bell Chime from India. Both a musical instrument and a whimsical decoration, this musical rope with five metal bells has been handmade by the artisans at a workshop sponsored by Noah's Ark in Moradabad, India. The recycled metal bells are approximately 1.5" x 2" x 1" Rope is 2 feet long.
