One World Projects brings you woven baskets and basketry products from around the world. We offer you more than just your average basket - we have magazine racks, bird roosting pouches, Christmas ornaments, serving trays, ... plus baskets in the traditional styles of artisans from Bolivia, Ghana, Guatemala, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Rwanda.

Rwandese Baskets

Using the natural fiber of sisal, women in Rwanda work towards peace and prosperity through weaving of traditional baskets. We also have trays, toy chests and magazine racks woven using banana leaves. Plus, see the Rwandan Peace Ornaments.

Elephant Grass Baskets from Ghana, Africa

Ghana, in sub-Saharan Africa, is the source of these sturdy elephant grass baskets. This style, known as the "bolga" basket, is a favorite because of its large size and versatility. Several other styles are also available, often the same bright colors one sees throughout Ghana.
